Milan Lucic Reveals The Last Team He’d Like To Play For Prior To Retirement

Milan Lucic has made a suggestion on his likely final NHL team and future destination.

As his NHL career draws to a close, Lucic revealed in an interview with Donnie & Dhaliwal on CHEK that he is considering his options and that the Canucks may be a potential destination.

Vancouver native Lucic, 34, played in the WHL as a prospect for the Vancouver Giants, where he won the Memorial Cup in 2007.

While he declined to say whether or when he will retire or when he may sign with the Canucks, pending UFA Lucic said he would consider any offer.

With the Calgary Flames in 72 games in 22-23, Lucic has 7 goals and 19 points. The Boston Bruins selected him in the second round, 50th overall, of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. In 2011, Boston defeated Lucic’s hometown Canucks to win the Stanley Cup.
