Here is a roundup of the top Liverpool news and gossip from icfootballnews that we think you guys may have missed today –
Alexis Mac Allister has appeared to say goodbye to Brighton on Instagram ahead of his proposed move to LIVERPOOL .
the transfer window will give Liverpool the chance to sign a few players that will freshen up the side, and Mac Allister is a man that is on the shopping list of Reds boss Jurgen Klopp.
And recent reports in the media have claimed the move is almost finalised, with Liverpool prepared to pay his exit clause and personal terms with the player ‘almost agreed’. It is claimed the deal could be finalised as soon as next week.
It is believed that Liverpool will have to pay close to £70 million to secure the services of Mac Allister.
Now – Mac Allister has seemingly said his goodbyes to Brighton fans on social media – He wrote: “It was an honour to represent Brighton & Hove Albion FC in a World Cup but to become the first-ever World Cup winner for this club it will be unforgettable (hopefully you will have more), as it will be your welcome after it.
“3 years and a half ago, we were fighting for relegation and today, after so much sacrifice, suffering and work, this group will be in the history of this club for becoming the first time this club will play Europe League.
“We achieved it all together and that’s why we have to feel very proud. VAMOOOOOS.”

Despite their poor season – LIVERPOOL are still one of the best sides in the world and adding a few players to the squad in the summer will reignite their quest to win more trophies.
Mac Allister is a man that is ready for that next step in his career and Liverpool will be a big move.
Although that amount of money for the player is crazy and we would much prefer that the Reds spend a bit less on completing this move – apart from the World Cup win – he has not done too much in the game.
But dont get us wrong – he is still a player that most sides in the Premier League would love to have in the squad.
Liverpool in Thuram talks –
LIVERPOOL have opened talks to sign Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram this summer window
Thuram has been identified as a priority target for Liverpool as they look to freshen up the squad and make a fresh push for that Premier League title next season.
The 22-year-old has enjoyed a breakout campaign in the south of France and earned a call-up to the senior national team as well as a place in the Ligue 1 Team of the Season.
He netted twice in 30 league starts last season, as well as laying on four assists, but also brings work rate and energy – averaging 2.6 combined tackles and interceptions per match
French newspaper L’Equipe claim they are pushing for dynamic Nice star Thuram and have begun talks over a possible deal for the star.
The report adds that A meeting is believed to have already taken place between Liverpool and the player’s entourage, while Thuram is keen to work under Klopp.
His manager at Nice, Didier Digard, has spoke glowingly about Thuram’s work ethic but has warned against an imminent exit from the Allianz Riviera.
“Khephren’s fantastic,” the Nice boss told RMC Sport.
“He’s very hardworking, very attentive. On rest days he’s at the training centre. He recovers quickly for back-to-back matches and completes high-intensity training.
“He’s already in the France team, but I’m convinced that he’ll have a very big career. But there must still be a little bit in Nice to go to continue his progress.”
Added to that – Thuram insists he is happy at Nice amid reports linking him with a move to Anfield.
“I want to progress, go on the field, have fun. For now, I’m in Nice, it’s going very well, I really like the club, so I still see myself in Nice. I am very well in Nice,” he told L’Equipe.
“There are noises, I hear, but I’m happy in Nice, I hope to grow with this club. I would like him (Didier Digard, his coach) to stay because he brought a lot to this group when it was in a difficult period.
I don’t know if I tell him enough but he’s someone I can never thank enough.
‘He helped me a lot in difficult times in my young career. We worked a lot together. I wish him only happiness, in Nice, or elsewhere.”
Szoboszlai makes Klopp admission –
RB Leipzig star Dominik Szoboszlai has opened the door to a move to LIVERPOOL by insisting he would love to work with Jurgen Klopp.
Liverpool are expected to spend some serious money over the course of the transfer window after a stuttering season saw they miss out on Champions League football.
There has been alot of speculation in the media about the type of players that Jurgen Klopp will look to try and sign this summer – and Szoboszlai is a man that has been linked with a move to the Premier League
The Hungarian international registered nine goals and 13 assists in the season just gone, putting him in contention for a summer move, and now he has admitted that he wouldnt mind working for Klopp.
“It would certainly be a special experience to work under Klopp,” Szoboszlai tells Index.
“As it would be under (Manchester City boss Pep) Guardiola or (Roma’s) Jose Mourinho.
“I don’t know what they would be able to get out of me. Relatively few footballers are given all this (opportunity), however.
‘Only the best. I believe I can reach that level, and it would be great to work with any of them one day.”

To play for Liverpool you need to be one of the best in the world – you need to offer Klopp something that he does not already have in the squad and needs to know that the Premier League is the best in the game.
Szoboszlai has been impressive this season over in the Bundesliga – but this is not the German League and he would struggle to make an impact at Anfield.
We are pretty certain that a move will not be made for the man in the summer unless something CRAZY happens and Liverpool cant get their top transfer targets.
