Arsenal free to sign Tielemans –
ARSENAL are now free to try and sign Youri Tielemans after he announced that he is leaving Leicester City.
Tielemans is out of contract this summer and his departure comes after Leicester were relegated from the Premier League on the final day of the season on Sunday.
Liverpool and Arsenal have both been linked with moves for the midfielder in recent months and now both will be able to open talks about a free move over the next few months.
He posted on social media: “Dear Leicester fans, after four and a half special years and with a lot of gratitude I’m bidding farewell to this incredible club,” the Belgium international said in a video on Instagram.
“From the first day I set foot on this ground, your warmth and passion embraced me. Victory and triumph, love, hope and even defeat, we’ve shared many special moments together.
“I am forever grateful for your unwavering support, thank you to Khun Top, the board, the staff, the players and fans for having given me and my family a home.

Although Tielemans has not been at his best this season – he is a brilliantly gifted player that at the right club – could be a real game-changer.
There are quite a few options for the man this coming transfer window and he will need to make sure that he joins a club that will give him the game time that he desires.
Mikel Arteta is a massive fan so we are fully expecting ARSENAL to make a move – and he may find it hard to turn down a move to Anfield that is for sure.
Odegaad decision made –
Martin Odegaard is reportedly set to be offered a new contract after a stunning season with the ARSENAL.
The 24-year-old has enjoyed his most prolific campaign, scoring 15 Premier League goals and playing a pivotal role in cementing Champions League qualification for the first time in seven years.
He is under contract until 2025 and there is no suggestions in the media that he would be open to leaving the club at the end of the season should a big club come calling.
But according to the London Evening Standard, the Gunners are keen to tie down their club captain to a longer and improved deal.
Paris Saint-Germain have expressed interest in Odegaard, but Mikel Arteta has no plans to part with Odegaard and are instead ready to begin contracts with him.
ex-Arsenal right-back Bacary Sagna recently claimed he can play for any team in World football.
He recently told Premier League Odds: ‘Martin Odegaard is already playing at the same level as David Silva, Frank Lampard and Kevin De Bruyne did and are now.
‘He can play for any big team in the world, he’s been Arsenal’s most consistent player.

There is no doubt that Odegaard can play for any club in the world, but why would he? He is getting everything he needs at Arsenal .
They are on the verge of something special this season, they will be back in the Champions League next year and with a couple more signings – they will be really hard to beat.
We are sure that offers will arrive for the man – but we are also sure that he will be more than happy to sign a new contract at the Emirates – especially under the guidance of Mikel Arteta.
It will be a great decision from the Gunners to get the man signed up that is for sure.
