Caledonia Gladiators’ Murray Hendry flew to a perfect score in the final round to land the British Basketball League Play-off Final Dunk Trophy.
In a dunk with authority, Murray went through the legs and finished with one hand to score the perfect 30 from the judges as he beat the challenge of B Braun Sheffield Sharks high-flyer Jalon Pipkins, who came in second with 28 as his final mark.
In the first round, Hendry went through the legs, chucking the ball off the backboard before hammering it home with two hands, which was followed by a baseline reverse and a near tomahawk one-hand slam to get to the final round.
Leicester Riders Lane Campbell impressed crowds, and finished third as a result, narrowly missing out. Newcastle Eagles’ Justin Gordon came fourth.
