Jurgen Klopp insists there will be more signings at Liverpool this summer transfer window.

LIVERPOOL have already brought in Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton and Dominik Szoboszlai from RB Leipzig – but the transfer business has not been as much as what many fans had hoped for.

And with the news that Fabinho, Jordan Henderson and now Thiago could all depart the club this summer window – Klopp has admitted that he needs to bring in a few more players over the next couple of weeks.

As expected, James Milner, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all left on free transfers at the end of the season, but the imminent departure of Jordan Henderson and Fbainho for Saudi Arabia was not planned.

WHAT HAS BEEN SAID – 

‘There are so many things to do,’ Klopp told the We are Liverpool podcast. ‘The transfer window is open. If my day would have 28 hours at the moment it would not be a problem – I could fill them easily!

‘With all the things you have to do left and right, my main focus and energy has to go into the training sessions then that’s what I do. Then either side of the sessions I can try to help with other stuff.

‘Still three-and-a-half weeks until the first game of the season. A few things have to happen before then, definitely, transfer market-wise as well.

‘That is clear now. And it will happen. New players have to come in. We will have a good team.’

WILL KLOPP MAKE SOME BIG SIGNINGS?

Even though the quality of player that is leaving LIVERPOOL will be very hard to replace – it will be interesting to see just who the Reds bring in because they have already spent some serious money.

Klopp will want big names – but we are sure that the players that will arrive will be ones for the future.
