Here is a roundup of the top Arsenal news and gossip that we think you guys may have missed today –

Arsenal transfer target Dusan Vlahovic has reportedly made a decision about his future with Juventus.

Vlahovic was a big target for ARSENAL back in January 2021 to replace Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the side but the forward opted not to move to the Premier League. Instead, he settled in Turin with Juventus.

But with Juve still out of European competition though following UEFA rule-breaking and Vlahovic seeking to play in the Champions League, an exit could be feasible in the next 12 months

WHAT IS THE LATEST –

According to recent reports the Gunners are considering an offer for Vlahovic in January, as they seek to add a proven striker to the attack that has the ability to score goals on a regular basis.

But according to Konur – Vlahovic will not be leaving the Italians and will instead look to sign a new contract at the Seria A giants.

He posted on X: ‘Dusan Vlahovic is about to accept Juventus’ contract extension offer despite interest from Premier League clubs.’

There is no doubt that Gabriel Jesus is a quality player and a man that Mikel Arteta can really rely on, but he constantly picks up injuries that keeps him out for weeks, even months.

We would not be surprised to see a new striker arrive in January, but Vlahovic would be a brilliant addition to the ARSENAL side and it is a massive shame to see that he would prefer to stay in the Italian League.

The Premier League is the best in the world and there is no n better time to join Arsenal, as they are as side that has the potential to overtake Man City as the best in England.

PEDRO NETO CLAIM MADE –

Sky Sports pundit Don Goodman has told OLBG that Arsenal transfer target Pedro Neto could play for any top club.

Over the course of the summer transfer window – ARSENAL done some of the best business in the Premier League and signed players that will make them serious contenders for that Premier League title.

Neto

The likes of Declan Rice, Kai Havertz, Davud Raya and Jurrien Timber have all made their own impacts at the Emirates since the move over the summer, but Mikel Arteta wants to keep adding to his side in the coming transfer windows, which has led to reports Pedro Neto is wanted.

Arsenal reportedly admire the forward and see him as being able to provide competition for places up front, and after his impressive start to the new Premier League season, he is a man that Mikel Arteta wanted next.

Now – amid all the speculation and all the rumours – Goodman has opened up and claimed that Neto could play for any of the big club

Goodman said: “I think Pedro Neto could go to any of the big clubs – he’s that good. Wolves fans are resigned to the fact they will lose him, with respect to them.

“Neto is a top-level player and Wolves can’t lay claim to being one of those clubs right now. You have to grab the football opportunities with both hands and embrace the chances to develop your career and play at the highest level – and that means the Champions League. He’s that good.

“Wolves will be able to keep Neto in January, and it’s promising to hear him talk about how much he loves the club, fans, and the area. He’s very settled and he’ll have to revisit that in the summer.

“Arsenal are the ones who are linked with him, but I’d be very surprised if most of the big teams aren’t keeping an eye on him. He’s been sensational.’

Look, at the end of the day, if ARSENAL come calling in the January window Neto will be unable to turn down such a move, it would be a massive step up.

Whether or not he is needed at the Emirates is a different story, but he would add some depth to the squad.

IVAN TONEY WILL STAY PUT AT BRENTFORD –

Stan Collymore has opened up and claimed that he does not believe that ARSENAL target Ivan Toney will leave Brentford in the January window.

Despite not being part of that Brentford squad this season because he has been banned – there has been alot of transfer talk regarding the long-term future of Ivan Toney, who is one of the best in the Premier League.

Toney netted 20 Premier League goals last season with Brentford’s asking price ranging from £80million to £100million, as he is considered to be one of the best strikers in the English top-flight.

Toney is still serving an eight-month ban for betting breaches but has returned to first-team training and will be free to play again on 17 January.

Now – amid all the speculation and rumours, pundit Collymore has opened up and claimed that he does not believe that Toney will leave the Bees by the end of the transfer window.

“Brentford won’t be in a relegation scrap so I think that they can afford to turn around to Ivan Toney and say, ‘look, we’ve been really loyal to you over the gambling stuff, we’re not going to let you go in January, but we will let you go at the end of the season,’”

He may well decide to stay at the club until the end of the season as Brentford have been so loyal to the player since his ban. But it will be interesting to see what happens if an official offer arrives.

ARSENAL are in need of a striker in the winter window, but the names that they are being linked with, we are not sure they will get the forward that Mikel Arteta is keen to sign.
